ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup water
2 eggs, slightly beaten
directions
Cream butter, sugar and cornstarch. Blend in remaining ingredients. Cook on high for 3 to 6 minutes or until clear and thickened, stirring after 2 minutes and then after every minute.
Sauce may be made ahead and reheated. Serve warm on cakes, puddings or ice cream.
