8 slices bacon
1 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
directions
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook until crisp. Remove from the skillet and place on paper toweling to drain. When cooled, crumble into bits.
Meanwhile, in a small mixing bowl, mix the butter, oregano, and black pepper until combined. Stir in the bacon.
Use immediately or store in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Use on corn on the cob, baked potatoes, green beans, etc.
