Slow Cooker Meatless Cabbage Soup

ingredients
2 cups shredded cabbage
2/3 cup uncooked instant rice
2 cups chicken broth
2 1/2 cups hot water
1 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 cups tomatoes, chopped & undrained
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
directions
Spray a slow cooker container with cooking spray. In prepared container, combine cabbage, uncooked rice, chicken broth, water, and tomato sauce.
Stir in carrots and onions. Add undrained tomatoes, Splenda, dill weed, and black pepper. Mix well to combine. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours. Mix well before serving.

This soup is the best. I have a grandmother who wont eat anything. I have never seen her eat anything so fast. Not to mention the rest of my family whom claimed to not like cabbage. I used veggie broth added some white beans. Didn't use all of the tomato sauce and put a little more veggie broth. I would recommend this to everyone.
