ingredients
4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1 1/2 tablespoon parsley, chopped
2 pounds ground beef
salt and pepper
8 slices tomato
4 slices red onion
1 large loaf Italian-style bread, sliced 1/2-inch thick
directions
Soften the butter. Blend in the herbs. Roll into a log. Wrap in parchment paper or plastic wrap and freeze.
Form the meat into balls. Cut the butter into pieces. Place a piece into each burger and form 1-inch thick patties. Season and grill to the desired temperature.
Lightly oil the bread slices and grill. Serve the burgers on the bread topped with the tomatoes and onions.

This burger is lush could only eat one with fries so filling. Flavor and texture excellent cook it how you like it (I had it medium) will introduce all my British friends to it. Thanks for a great recipe.
