ingredients
2 pounds ground beef chuck
2 eggs
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons chopped parsley
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
1 cup finely chopped peanuts
8 toasted hamburger buns
directions
Combine beef, eggs, onion, garlic, salt, pepper and parsley. Shape mixture into patties about 3/4" thick. Brush patties on both sides with melted butter. Roll patties in chopped peanuts.
Put remaining butter in a large skillet and brown patties on both sides over medium heat. Lower heat and continue cooking until meat is done. Serve on toasted buns.
