Cajun Turkey Burgers

ingredients
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/2 cup seasoned fine dry bread crumbs
1 pound ground turkey
6 slices bacon
directions
In a large mixing bowl, combine egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic powder, onion powder and red pepper.
Add bread crumbs and turkey, mixing well. Shape turkey mixture into patties. Wrap a strip of bacon around outside of each patty and fasten with a wooden toothpick.
Place patties on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 3" to 4" from heat for 15 to 18 minutes or until no pink remains and bacon is done, turning once.
Remove toothpicks before serving.

Instead of wrapping the burgers with the bacon (didn't have any toothpicks) I cut each slice of bacon in half and placed two halves on top of each burger. Next time I'll add a little hot sauce to the turkey too,
