1 dash bitters
1 dash simple syrup
chilled Champagne, to fill
1 lime twist
Add the bitters and simple syrup to a champagne flute. Slowly pour in champagne to fill the flute.
Garnish with a lime twist and serve immediately.

I'm probably the only person on the planet who doesn't like champagne so a friend turned me on to this recipe. Now when we toast something I add the bitters and simple syrup to mine and can toast with the others!

I love the addition of bitters to this recipe. It changes the flavor of the Champagne to something truly unique. One of my new favorites, for sure!
