- #100458
30-60 minutes
ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 large egg white
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
coarse salt and ground black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 can (28 ounce size) whole tomatoes in puree
directions
Place turkey, breadcrumbs, milk, egg white, cheese, oregano, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in a bowl and mix.
With moistened hands, shape mixture into 12 meatballs. In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add meatballs, and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes and puree, breaking them up with your fingers. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, then cover and cook for 15 minutes. Uncover and simmer until meatballs are cooked through, about 15 minutes more.
Serve over cooked pasta or rice.

Nutritional data has not been calculated yet.It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
