I tried this recipe following the ingredients exactly and my family thought it was too sweet. The second time I made it I added a bit more white wine vinegar and a little less sugar and they thought it was much better. This of course is a personal preference but if you or your family prefer food a little less sweet I would recommend cutting back on the amount of sugar.
