Slow Cooker Party Hamburger Dip

ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
1 1/2 pound velveeta cheese
1 can (about 10 ounce size) Ro-Tel tomatoes with chiles
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 can (4 ounce size) chopped green chiles, mild, optional
1 can (4 ounce size) sliced mushrooms, drained, optional
directions
Melt Velveeta cheese in slow cooker.
Brown hamburger, mushrooms and onion, drain off excess grease. Add remaining ingredients and simmer (high) for about 30 minutes.
Serve dip with tortilla chips or crackers.

Love this dip. I make homemade tortilla chips to use with it (although one is tempted to just eat it with a spoon!)
