This is so simple and delicious! I've made it several times for my family. It is my 5-yr-old's favorite. she calls it "sweet meat."

These wings were good but not really honey garlic. They were more like oriental wings, in which case they could use a little ginger, about teaspoon. There are several small changes I would really suggest. I really liked that they were broiled first, it helped with the fat content :) as well as flavour. I will incorporate that into other wing recipes. However, I will only broil for about 5 minutes rather than the suggested 9. I made them a couple of times and tried both cooking on high for 2 hours, and low for 5 and would definately recommend using the longer method if you can. the meat is soooo tender. If you are home during the last half of the cooking time try cooking the wings uncovered and gently turning them occassionaly to be sure they stay coated in sauce. Last, if you are having to prepare the wings remember that removing the tips, splitting and removing the skin is a very time consuming job so add about 20mins / pound of wings. Removing the skin improves the taste of the wings but is likely the reason I prefer to broil for a shorter time. Thanks to the submitter for this recipe
