This sweet nut topping is delicious served over ice cream, yogurt, oatmeal, or for a savory treat serve over grilled chicken or add to a stir-fry.

1 cup unsalted mixed nuts
1 1/4 cup clover honey
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Spread the nuts on an un-greased baking sheet. Place in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes or until lightly toasted. Gently stir the nuts once during the cooking time. Transfer the nuts to a plate to cool completely.
Fill a 12-ounce jar (or 2 6-ounce jars) slightly less than half half full with honey. Add the toasted nuts then top with the remaining honey. Tightly seal the jars and store at room temperature for up to 30 days.

Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
