ingredients
3/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
3 cups walnut halves (pecan halves)
1/4 cup butter
directions
Toss together sugar and spices in a 1 1/2 quart glass casserole dish. Stir in nuts. Cut butter into 6 pieces and arrange over top of nuts. Microwave 5 to 7 minutes, stirring twice during cooking. Immediately after cooking, pour nuts onto strip of aluminum foil and toss to coat nuts with sugar mixture. Serve warm or cold.
