Cheesy New Potatoes With Bacon

ingredients
12 medium new potatoes
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup shredded medium-sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 teaspoon salt
pepper, to taste
directions
Wash potatoes thoroughly; do not peel. Place potatoes in a small Dutch oven; cover with water. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and cook about 20 minutes or until tender. Drain well and cool slightly. Cut into 1/4 inch slices.
In order listed: potatoes, bacon, cheese, butter, salt and pepper, layer half of all ingredients in a 2 quart casserole. Repeat layers.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes.
