Sausages With Fried Apples

ingredients
1 pound sausage of your choice (can use breakfast sausage)
1 large apple, diced
1 large yellow onion, sliced in irregular chunks
coarsely ground black pepper, to taste
directions
Put sausage in hot skillet and let it start cooking. Add onion and apple. Sprinkle on a bit of the pepper, and cover tightly with a well-fitting lid.
Reduce heat to low and allow to cook for 20 minutes. Plate and enjoy!
