This dreamy mint liqueur is the best way to add a boozy holiday twist to coffee or hot chocolate. The combination of peppermint schnapps and vanilla gives it a winter-fresh flavor.
1 can (14 ounce size) sweetened condensed milk
1 pint whipping cream
10 ounces peppermint schnapps
2 teaspoons clear vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
Combine the sweetened condensed milk and whipping cream in the blender for a 15 seconds.
Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
Pour into a bottle with cap or other airtight container (if you are going to use it soon you can keep it in the blender container with the lid on). Place in the refrigerator and chill completely.
Shake the mixture before serving (or if stored in the blender container, simply blend for a few more seconds to remix it).
Store the liqueur in the refrigerator.
If you want it to look "minty" you can add a drop of green food coloring.
