This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

If you think the root beer float can't be topped, you need to get your hands on a black cow. Adding in chocolate syrup makes the float even richer. A perfect homemade summertime treat, especially with a topping of whipped cream.

2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
6 ounces root beer
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Drizzle the chocolate syrup into the bottom of a tall, chilled glass. Add the root beer, filling to within 2-inches of the top of the glass. Stir gently to mix the root beer with the syrup.
Top the drink with the scoop of ice cream and serve immediately.
