Peachy Short Ribs

ingredients
4 pounds beef short ribs
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 can (29 ounce size) cling peach halves, RESERVING
3/4 cup cling peach syrup
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup tomato ketchup
1 clove garlic, crushed
directions
Brown ribs slowly in hot oil in Dutch oven with heatproof handles.
Mix peach syrup with remaining ingredients, except the peaches, and add to ribs.
Cover and place in a 350 degrees F oven. Bake for about 2 hours or until tender. Add peaches to ribs. Return to oven for 10 minutes.
