Tender chicken breasts are baked with a coating of homemade honey mustard sauce.
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup prepared mustard
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper as desired and place the chicken in a single layer in the greased baking dish.
In a bowl, whisk together the honey, mustard, basil, paprika, and parsley.
Brush about half of the honey-mustard mixture over the chicken.
Place the baking dish in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Turn the chicken pieces over, brush with the remaining honey-mustard mixture, and bake for another 10-15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
Remove the honey mustard chicken from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes then serve.

What type of mustard?
Just plain yellow mustard unless you want it tangier then you could use Dijon or something different.

Simple but delicious. Used bone-in chicken and just adjusted the cooking time (always test chicken to make sure it's cooked through!)

I made this up for my family and they all loved it. So much in fact I should have made more. The only mod I did was add 1/4 teaspoon of dill. It was marvelous.

Fantastic :) I made this for my boyfriend and served it with steamed asparagus and it was a big hit. It's sweet and tangy and very yummy.

Easy and delicious. I substituted a pre-mixed chicken rub for the paprika (the mix had paprika in it) which added additional flavors. I spooned the mixture instead of brushed and it turned out great.

I love this recipe. It's one of the few things I can get my whole family to eat (and even to ask for again!). Super easy, and the sauce is delicious. Definitely worth buying a few out of the ordinary ingredients for.

This was so quick and easy, no more store brought packets for me. This recipe was a winner with everyone, in my very picky family. Cheers!!!

Very easy I took the chicken breasts and rinsed, sprayed some pam on a deep baking sheet. Mixed the ingredients in a bowl, but I added a tablespoon of olive oil and some red vinegar which cooks it down after you flip them over, at first it looks watery I didn't brush on I spooned it on (I made alittle more than called for) and it ended up with a nice glaze on the chix, but with a lovely brownish reduction in the pan which I poured over as I plated it. That was delish.

This was amazing! It was easy and quick, and left a lot of time for me to get the rest of dinner prepared while it was cooking. When it was done, it was DELECTABLE!! I will be making this a lot, and I recommend it for any occassion, whether a romantic dinner or just a regular meal.
