This slow cooked fudge sauce is a rich and delicious dessert sauce that is perfect for topping ice cream, brownies, cake, or just eating with a spoon.
24 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/4 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 tablespoon fruit flavored liqueur, optional
Combine the chocolate chips, evaporated milk, sugar, vanilla, and liqueur in the crock pot. Mix well.
Cover the crock pot and cook on high heat for 30 minutes. Stir the ingredients well then cover the crock pot and cook for 1 hour on low heat.
Use the chocolate fudge sauce as a dip for fruit or cookies or drizzle over ice cream or other dessert.
