Polynesian Steak

ingredients
3 tablespoons salad oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 medium round steak, cut into strips
2 teaspoons salt
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 medium can stewed tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper
1 small can tomato paste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 small can pineapple, crushed or cubed
4 drops Tabasco sauce
directions
Brown meat and onion in salad oil. Reduce heat and add remaining ingredients. Simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until tender, stirring occasionally.
Serve over buttered rice.
