A childhood classic. Chocolate pudding and crumbled oreo "dirt" with spookily sweet gummy worms crawling around is perfect for Halloween or other parties.

1 box (4-serving size) instant chocolate pudding mix
gummy worms
oreo cookies
Prepare the chocolate pudding as directed on the package until soft-set. Divide the chocolate pudding between individual 8-ounce glasses or parfait cups, filling them about three-quarters full.
Place one or two gummy worms in each glass, positioning them so the worms hang over the edge of the glass. Add more pudding to cover the bottom of the worms.
Place the Oreo cookies in a ziptop plastic bag and crush them using a rolling pin (or the bottom of a glass). Sprinkle the crushed cookies on top of the pudding so the gummy worms look like they are crawling out of the "dirt".
If desired, decorate the mud pudding with candy ghosts, skeletons, or tombstones. Serve the desserts immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 4 hours (longer than that and the cookies may start to get soggy).

Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.
