- #123480
under 30 minutes
ingredients
4 slices French bread (about 5x3-inches)
1/4 cup prepared Caesar salad dressing
4 slices white cheddar cheese
2 small grilled, boneless chicken breast halves
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter
directions
Place a sheet of plastic wrap on a work surface.
Spread one tablespoon of the Caesar salad dressing on one side of each slice of bread. Place half of the bread slices spread side down on the plastic wrap.
Top the spread-side down slices with one slice of cheddar cheese, one chicken breast, and 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan. Place the remaining slices of bread on top of the Parmesan, spread-side up.
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Add the butter and cook, stirring, until melted.
Add the sandwiches and cook on both sides until golden brown, about 6 minutes total.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
