Ingredients:
3/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup chopped nuts, divided

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease an 8 x 8 inch baking dish.

Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

Melt the chocolate and the butter in a large saucepan over very low heat. Remove from the heat. Stir to blend.

Beat in the sugar and the eggs until well blended. Stir in the flour mixture just until combined. Stir in the vanilla and 1/2 cup nuts.

Spread in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the top with the remaining 1/4 cup chopped nuts. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or just until a slight imprint remains when pressed lightly in the center.

Do Not Overbake as the brownies continue to bake out of the oven. Cool in the pan on a wire rack. Cut into squares.
