Chili Roasted Peanuts

ingredients
1 1/2 tablespoon peanut oil
1/2 tablespoon crushed chiles
1 tablespoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1 tablespoon sugar
4 cups raw peanuts
directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Combine all ingredients except the nuts in a baking pan and mix well. Add nuts and toss to mix. Spread nuts in a single layer and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden, stirring 2 or 3 times during cooking.
Serve barely warm or at room temperature. Variation: Try assorted nuts.
