If you're looking for an extra flavorful turkey this holiday season, try injecting it with broth! This simple technique can really boost the taste of your bird.
12 pounds whole turkey
1 cup low sodium chicken or turkey broth
Preheat oven to 500 degrees F. Using a hypodermic needle or baster-injector inject the broth into the turkey, concentrating mainly on the breast.
Put turkey in the oven. Let cook for 20 minutes or until the exterior is crisp, but not golden brown. Reduce heat to 375 degrees F. Let bird roast until finished.

Been doing this exact thing with chickens using 1/4 cup broth for a couple of years now. Makes them super juicy. Haven't tried it on a turkey yet as the wife doens't care for turkey.
