Crab And Cheddar Waffles
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon caynne pepper
1/2 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese
4 1/2 ounces crabmeat, flaked
2 tablespoons finely sliced green onion
1 large egg, fork beaten
1 1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
DIRECTIONS:
Stir first 5 ingredients into large bowl. Add cheese, crab, and green onion. Stir.
Combine egg, milk and oil in small bowl. Add to flour mixture. Mix until just moistened. Do not overmix.
Cook about 1/2 cup batter in hot waffle iron until golden. Repeat with remaining batter.
