Club soda has long been a secret ingredient in making waffles and pancakes extra fluffy. This recipe simplifies the process even more by using Bisquick baking mix for a no-fuss breakfast.

2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1 egg, lightly beaten
3 tablespoons oil
1 1/3 cup club soda
Preheat and grease waffle iron.
Combine the bisquick, egg, and oil in a bowl until mixed. Slowly stir in the club soda until smooth.
Add the batter to the waffle iron and cook as directed by manufacturer. Serve waffles immediately or let cool and then freeze, well-wrapped, for up to a month.

The waffles, while not incredibly flavorful, are nice and light and an absolute breeze to make. I'd recommend this for anyone just looking for an easy saturday morning waffle recipe.
