This Italian cheese is so versatile that it can be used in both sweet and savory recipes from cheesecakes to lasagnas.

Our solution to National Waffle Day plus our tradition of pizza on Fridays. I included 1/3c Asiago cheese b/c we were low on Parm cheese. The waffles turned out well. Hubby didnt like the dish because the sauce was too overwhelming and the dish tasted "boxed". My toddlers and I liked it OK. I would use less cheese next time in the sauce or just use prepared pizza sauce. We like trying new recipes so it was worth the experience.
