ingredients
1 1/2 pound ground beef
1 slice bread, broken or chopped finely
1 whole fresh egg
1 small Vidalia or other sweet onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon table salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 tablespoons ketchup
1/2 cup sweet milk or half & half
Sauce
4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
4 tablespoons dark brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup ketchup
directions
For Meatloaf: Combine meat loaf ingredients and place into a loaf baking dish. Smooth out top.
For Sauce: Combine sauce ingredients and pour on top and sides of meatloaf. Bake at 350 degrees F about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes or until done.

Iâve been using this recipe for a few years. Outstanding recipe!! I cook the sauce on stovetop (5-10) min) before pouring it on the meatloaf. Some recommended this idea to take some of the tang out. My meatloaf lovers are now loving this meatloaf recipe!

We love this recipe. Unlike a person who commented, the tangy sauce is awesome to us. I grew up hating meatloaf but this recipe has made me a fan!

I loved the meatloaf but not the sauce. Too tangy. Skip the vinegar the ketchup has enough tang to it. The meatloaf was outstanding though. Very moist but sliceable.
