It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

The blender helps finely chop the vegetables for this meatloaf resulting in a smoother texture. Serve this meatloaf plain, with a sauce, or turn into meatloaf sandwiches (our favorite!)

2 slices bread, torn into pieces
1 egg
1/2 cup water
1 small onion, quartered
1 stalk celery, chopped
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 pounds ground beef
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine the bread, egg, water, onion, celery, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce in a blender. Process until the vegetables are finely chopped.
Place the ground beef in a large bowl. Add the processed vegetable mixture and mix well with your hands to combine.
Place the meatloaf in an ungreased loaf pan. Place in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.
Let cool for 5 minutes then slice and serve.

The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
