The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

ingredients
1 large egg, beaten
3 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon celery, finely chopped
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 dash salt
1 dash black pepper
3/4 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon ketchup
directions
Mix first 11 ingredients in a bowl. Add ground beef. Mix well.
Shape into loaf on ungreased double foil. Bring up sides to enclose. Leave top open. Place in open shallow pan. Bake at 350 degrees F oven for 45 minutes.
Spread second amount of ketchup over top. Continue baking for 15 minutes.
