ingredients
2 pounds ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 cup minced onion
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/4 cup condensed vegetable soup
2 cups cereal flakes, crushed
directions
Soak lid of Roemertopf (clay baking pot).
Mix ingredients thoroughly in the order listed. Shape into a loaf and place in Roemertopf, then cover. Put into a cold oven, then set temperature to 425 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours.
