ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup grated American cheese
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
3/4 cup regular uncooked rice
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can tomato soup
1 soup can water
1/2 teaspoon leaf oregano, crumbled
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1 can (1 pounnd size) cut green beans, drained
1 cup whole kernel corn
directions
Form beef, cheese and 1 tsp. salt lightly into meat balls; brown in hot butter in frying pan; place in 8 cup baking dish; add rice.
Heat onion, soup, water, 1/2 tsp. salt, oregano, and mustard to boiling; pour over meat balls.
Arrange vegetables around edge; cover. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1-1/4 hours or until rice is tender.
