Beef Barley Casserole

ingredients
1/3 cup barley, soaked in water
1 pound ground beef, browned
salt and pepper
1 medium onion, cut up
1 cup sliced carrots
2 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons soy sauce
directions
In a 2-quart casserole, mix drained barley, browned beef and onion, carrots and molasses, mix well. Add enough water to cover.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour covered. Before serving, add the soy sauce. Mix. You may have to add more water during baking.
