Beef Drumsticks

ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon scraped onion (optional)
1 egg
fine cracker crumbs
2 slices bacon
directions
Mix together the hamburger, salt, onion, and egg. Divide into equal portions. Form around 3" of ends of wooden skewers in shape of drumsticks. Roll in crumbs.
Place in a baking dish. On top of each, place 1/2 slice of bacon. Bake in a 450 degrees F oven for 30 minutes. Serve with ketchup or chili sauce or hot tomato or mushroom sauce.
