Oven Fish Chowder

ingredients
2 pounds cod or haddock fillets, fresh or frozen
1 package (5-5/8 ounce size) scalloped potatoes, including seasoning mix
1 bay leaf
5 whole cloves
1 clove garlic, crushed
3 onions, sliced
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 cups light cream
chopped parsley
directions
Put 4 cups boiling water and all ingredients, except last 2, in large casserole or Dutch oven; mix together. Cover and bake at 375 about 1-1/2 hours.
Heat cream to scalding and add to chowder. Remove bay leaves and cloves and garnish chowder with parsley.
