Tic-Tac-Toe Pepperoni Pizza
- add review
- #76495
under 30 minutes
ingredients
1 pita bread round, preferably whole wheat
2 tablespoons pizza or spaghetti sauce
1 stick mozzarella string cheese
3 slices pepperoni (or more as desired)
1/2 green or red bell pepper
directions
Heat oven to 425 degrees F.
Place the pita bread on a cookie sheet or a cooking stone. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the top of the pita. Cut the string cheese in half from end to end using a safe cutter or knife. Cut each half again from end to end to make 4 long strings of cheese.
Arrange the cheese strings over the pizza sauce to make a tic-tac-toe pattern. (You should have 9 square spaces.) Place the pepperoni slices on some of the square spaces.
Cut the bell pepper in half from end to end and scrape out the seeds. Using a cookie cutter, cut 3 stars from the bell pepper. Place the pepper stars on the rest of the openings.
Bake the pizza for 7 to 8 minutes or until cheese begins to melt. Carefully remove the pan from the oven using oven mitts. Cut the pizza into triangles using a pizza cutter.

They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
