The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

1 can (10.75 ounce size) tomato soup, divided
1 1/2 pound ground beef
1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup minced onions
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1 clove garlic, minced
1/8 teaspoon oregano, crushed
1 package Mozzarella cheese
Mix all ingredients, but only 1/4 cup of the soup, thoroughly in a large bowl.
Place a square of foil on a cookie sheet. Put the hamburger mixture on the foil. Pat out the meat firmly into a 10 inch circle about 1/2 inch thick. Build a stand-up rim about 1 inch high all around the edge of the circle. This makes a meat "crust" for your pizza (be sure to make the meat rim high enough and firm enough so that it will prevent the meat juices and soup sauce from bubbling over). Turn up the edges of the foil to catch drippings. Spread the rest of the tomato soup over meat. Top hamburger crust with Mozzarella cheese and more oregano and mushrooms. Bake at 450 degrees F for 15 minutes or until done.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
