Rhubarb Dessert Recipe

Serves/Makes: 8
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 cup chopped raw rhubarb
Directions:
Cream the sugars, shortening, egg and vanilla. Stir in milk. Add the dry ingredients. Fold in the rhubarb.
Top with 1/3 cup sugar with cinnamon and some chopped rhubarb. Place in greased 9x13 pan and bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
