2/3 package (7 ounce size) pasta shells
1/2 package (1 pound size) imitation crab meat (shredded or broken up)
1/2 cup American cheese, finely diced
1 teaspoon onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup celery, finely diced
Dressing
1 cup mayonnaise-type salad dressing
1/2 cup milk
salt, to taste
Mix together dressing ingredients until smooth.
Cook shells according to package directions. Drain well, rinse in cold water two or more times and drain real well.
Add crab meat, cheese and onion and celery. Toss gently with the dressing mixture.

Overall a good recipe for pasta salad but the dressing was just a little bland I thought.

I made this salad for our new years eve party and it was a winner.I still have friends calling me asking for the recipe.I will be making it for my super bowl party.

I gave this recipe a try and it was such a hit, I keep making it. It is also pretty reasonable calorie wise with low fat mayo, etc.
