For a laid-back cook game night, these barbecue wings deliver big on taste and convenience. Prepared mostly in the slow cooker, they make throwing together a snack impossibly easy.

3 pounds chicken wings
1 1/2 cup bottled barbecue sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Rinse chicken; pat dry. Cut off and discard wing tips. Cut each wing at joint to make 2 sections.
Place chicken on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches from the heat about 10 minutes or until chicken is browned, turning once. Transfer chicken to a 3 1/2 to 4 quart slow cooker.
For sauce, mix barbecue sauce, honey, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce; pour over chicken wings.
Cover; cook on low heat setting for 4 to 5 hours or on high heat setting for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

Ranking #1 in nearly every "favorite cookie" poll, the chocolate chip cookie is pretty much the go-to cookie of choice for both kids and grownups alike.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

Mix up the sauce and set some aside for dipping later. When the wings are done, toss them back on the broiler pan and give them another minute or two under the broiler again so they aren't too soupy. These wings are delicious and so simple to make. You can vary the flavor with the type of bbq sauce and mustard that you use. Definitely a keeper of a recipe!
