Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

I am going to a family party this afternoon and wanted to make some chicken wings on my BBQ. I searched your site and selected the Asian style BBQ chicken wings. I changed the recipe in only 2 ways. Before grilling I sprinkled jalapeno powder, and ground black pepper on the wings. Everything else done to the letter. I loved the sweetness and hotness on the BBQ'd wings. Great recipe! :)
