The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

Simple recipe that we all enjoyed. I would say it served more like 10 people as we had 6 people eat it and there were a ton of leftovers because it's rich with the "hard sauce" on it.
This is a good one. My husband is so picky when it comes to food and this one, he loves it. I will recommend this recipe to my family and friends.
