Bread pudding is a classic dessert that gets a delicious update with the addition of white chocolate sauce. This rich and creamy sauce takes this already indulgent treat to new heights of deliciousness.
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2/3 cup sugar
2 cups milk
3 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 cups dry bread cubes
White Chocolate Sauce
8 ounces white chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 cup whipping cream
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Place the melted butter in a 9-inch baking pan. Turn to coat the bottom of the pan with the butter.
Combine the sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon in a bowl and mix well. Stir in the bread cubes, mixing until coated in the milk mixture. Transfer the bread mixture to the baking pan.
Place the pan in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine the white chocolate and whipping cream in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until the chocolate melts and the sauce is smooth. Do not let it boil or scorch.
Serve the bread pudding warm with the white chocolate sauce drizzled over it.
