Bread Pudding with Warm Butter Sauce

ingredients
2 cups bread crumbs
2 1/3 cups milk
2 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Warm Butter Sauce
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 dash salt
1 cup boiling water
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
directions
Heat milk. Add butter and bread crumbs. Add beaten eggs with sugar and vanilla. Add salt and raisins. Use large buttered casserole. Set casserole in pan of water while baking.
Bake approximately 1 hour at 350 degrees F. Serve with warm butter sauce.
For Warm Butter Sauce: Melt butter. Add sugar and flour. Mix well. Add boiling water. Cook until thickened. Add vanilla. Serve warm over pudding.
