ingredients

1 tablespoon cornmeal
10 ounces pizza dough
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
3/4 cup shredded white and yellow American cheese
1 cup diced grilled hamburger
1/4 cup kosher pickle slices
1/4 sliced red onion
1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

Garnish

ketchup
3 tablespoons real bacon bits
1 roma tomato, sliced thin
1/2 cup shredded lettuce
1/4 cup diced red onions

directions

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Sprinkle the cornmeal on a 12-inch pizza pan.

Roll the dough out to an 11-inch circle. Place on the prepared pan.

Combine the olive oil, ketchup, and mustard. Mix well. Spread the mixture to 3/4-inch from the edge of the crust. Evenly sprinkle the American cheese over the top.

Evenly layer the beef, pickles, red onion, and Mozzarella over the top.

Place the pizza in the oven and bake at 450 degrees F for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese has melted.

Remove the pizza from the oven and top drizzled with the ketchup, sprinkled with the bacon bits, shredded lettuce, tomato slices, and diced onions. Cut into wedges and serve immediately.

I agree very filling but very good. I've modified it a few times to be a mushroom bacon cheeseburger pizza!

  2. leftyg REVIEW:

Delicious, not hard to make. VERY filling! One pie will feed your family.
