Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

We lived in an area that sold a cake like this one--I looked and looked for this cake and was not disappointed. We all liked it and the 7 year old followed the directions --so it is not too hard....Did not make any changes. Liked it just as is.
