ingredients

1 large flour tortilla per person
1/4 cup olive oil
salt

directions

Preheat the oven broiler.

Using Halloween cookie cutters, cut each tortilla into festive shapes.

Brush the olive oil on each side of the tortilla cutouts. Place them on a cookie sheet. Place the cookie sheet under the broiler, about 4 inches away from the heat, and cook until it begins to brown.

Flip the tortilla chips over and cook until the tops are lightly browned.

Remove from the oven and lightly sprinkle with salt.

Serve with bat blood (salsa).

  1. jennymac REVIEW:

we used these over the weekend for a sleepover party- girls went crazy for them. I let them make them as an activity- then we all ate them up. Paired with salsa, queso, and 7 layered dip it was the perfect party snack.

  2. Valerie REVIEW:

I used an olive oil sprayer to coat the tortilla cut-outs (much easier!). The chips were nice and crisp and very tasty. I used a variety of Halloween shapes including bats, witch hats, ghosts, and pumpkins. Fun and easy!
