A can of cream of mushroom soup can be a real dinner saver. It works great in casseroles and can turn into a sauce or gravy in a pinch.

A tasty Halloween spinach dip made with cream cheese, sour cream, and salsa. Served with breadstick "bones" for dipping

1/2 cup sour cream

2 green onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Thoroughly drain the spinach and squeeze dry.
In a food processor, combine the spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, onions, garlic, salt and pepper. Process until pureed.

Delicious! Had some leftover water chestnuts so I threw those in too - they added a nice crunch. To make it even more Halloweenish, I served in hollowed out orange pepper that I had cut a jackâoâlantern face in...

I didn't make the breadstick bones but instead cut out skull and ghost shapes out of pita bread and toasted them.

This tasted good enough, but without the bread "bones" there's not much about it that says "Halloween." It's just a variant of spinach dip. I definitely will use a hotter salsa to punch it up next time. And I probably will make it again.

Very tasty and creamy spinach dip. If you want a little "zip" to it, use a spicier salsa. I used a medium salsa and the cream cheese and sour cream balanced out the heat quite a bit. I made breadstick bones out of refrigerated breadstick dough (super easy) but you can use any dippers you like.

Super easy to make and easy to serve. I served with crackers instead of breadsticks, it was a big hit at bunko group.
